Here I am seeking a flower
untouched by the world, with a faithful manner.
It is up high, so I must go there now
even if it takes my entire life.
The light of love lights up the path I walk.
I'm not alone, in spite of all the stones;
as well as thorns that try to obstruct the way
of the firm goal of living beyond this day.
Oh, that I could word such a thing!

But you should not despair, for the time will someday come.
In which what you now seek, you'll finally have found,

The way is full of voices that say:
"It's that one flower." "It's that one over there."
